Short Breaks ServiceOur Short Break service offers a range of leisure activities for disabled children and young people up to the age of 25 years.
We provide appropriate activities focused on your child’s or young person’s needs including holiday clubs, play schemes, family fun events, parties, workshops and theatre trips.

Beamers Holiday Club
Our Beamers holiday club offers your young person aged 5-17 years fun activities, day trips and opportunities to form new friendships.
Taking part in the school holidays, there is a wide range of fun activities and days out for the children and young people to enjoy from trips to wildlife parks and zoos to sailing, crazy golf and swimming.
This holiday club is only suitable for those not requiring personal care or 1-to-1 support. We will send you a support plan so that we can understand more about your young person’s needs.
This service is offered to our members. We ask for a voluntary contribution of £25 per session. For further information on becoming a member, please click here.

KidsCamp Holiday Club
KidsCamp is our specialist play scheme for young people aged 5 to 17 years with severe and complex needs that require 1-to-1 support and personal care.
The holiday club offers young people the opportunity to form new friendships and take part in lots of fun and exciting activities including sailing, swimming, trips to the seaside and fun with music and dance.
Our team are on hand to support the children and young people and allow them to experience activities they might not normally be able to.
We will send you a support plan so that we can understand more about your young person’s needs.

Buzz Club Holiday Club
Buzz Club is our brand new holiday club for young people aged 18 to 25 years.
We welcome new young people to join our Buzz Club and our aim is to allow young people to experience new activities, have fun and make friends.
Held in the holidays there is a wide range of activities including Bowling, Crazy Golf, Sailing, Trips to the Beach and Pub Lunches.
Buzz Club is suitable for young people with severe and complex needs and 1 to 1 and personal care will be offered. We will send you a support plan so that we can understand more about your young person’s needs.

Family Events
We have many events throughout the year for our members and have enjoyed trips to the theatre, O2, panto plus Christmas parties.
Little Buddies
Little Buddies is a support group for children with severe and complex disabilities and for parents to get to know each other.
The club meets on the first Monday of each month from Temple Hill Children’s Centre from 12.30-2.30pm and is open for new parents to join at any time.
The club organise activities, trips and family events throughout the year.

Did you know that our facilities are available to book? Facilities include a sensory and soft play area and ball pit plus a completely renovated secure garden.
Get2Swim with Beams
We Are Beams will be offering swimming lessons for children in collaboration with Angela’s Swim School and their Get2Swim programme.
The lessons are for those aged 6 to 12 years old with ADHD and ASD, and who cannot swim without swim aids. This service will be offered to our members only.
We have been overwhelmed with requests for this service. Please note, you will be required to complete a support plan for your child’s place to be confirmed.
