To assist my child to access social activities in the community whilst also increasing their independence.
To provide support and assistance to enable my child to achieve their full potential (which may include some personal care).
My child’s interest are very sport oriented, in particular football but they are also generally very friendly and sociable and love to be busy doing things and will happily engage in other activities.
You will be supporting my child with attending clubs and activities that they are not able to access on their own and in learning life skills e.g. going to the shops, getting on the bus.
Supporting my child within the home to encourage them to spend time away from their screen, for example painting, puzzles, lego, board games, creative activities, cooking, gardening.
Key main tasks: (Include any specialised training /knowledge if required)
· driving to and from organised sports clubs and ad-hoc activities
· assisting and supervising snacks and meal times
· term time, picking up from school and taking to clubs and picking up from after school activities and bringing home.
Hourly rate of pay: £10.68
Hours available:
Holidays, up to 10 hours a week. Term time, after school up to 6 hours per week (either 2×3 hour sessions or 3×2 hour sessions)
An enhanced DBS for working with children will be required, which I will arrange if an up to date clearance is needed.
