The role is to provide support, personal care, and assistance, both inside and out of the family home.
Our son is aged 6, diagnosed with ASD and non-verbal. He is currently at Five Acre Wood School. He loves to explore the outdoors and is becoming more open to engaging with others. He is full of energy and full of fun.
He is developing his use of language to request things and uses PECS well to communicate with others.
The choice to PA inside and/or outside of term times can be discussed and are welcomed. We are very flexible.
Key main tasks:
· Attend activities (Soft play, trampoline parks, parks, etc).
· Assist with personal care, safety, and hygiene.
· Care inside and outside of the family home.
· Where required and with notice, attend social activities with parents.
Hourly rate of pay: £10.42
Hours available:
The post is for 4 hours a week term time and 8 hours a week non term time. Flexible across Weekdays, evenings and weekends.
An enhanced DBS for working with children will be required, which I will arrange if an up to date clearance is needed.
