Description / Details of the Role:
To assist my child to access social activities in the community whilst also increasing his independence
To provide support and assistance to enable my child to achieve his full potential (which may include some personal care)
Our son is turning 8 in Feb, and is very loving and affectionate. He is non-verbal but understands when spoken to, has a small number of words, and is obedient. He is not toilet trained but trying hard every day to be so. He likes to cuddle, enjoys his iPad, going to the park, playing with toys and is very engaging and interactive. He goes to the kitchen and often gets snacks; he needs help with filling his water bottle and cooking nuggets and chips. He is calm, pleasant and loves to be tickled a lot.
Key main tasks:
· Play with and Care for my Child
· Change Nappies and encourage Bathroom Visits
· Ensure he is eating and drinking as required
· Keep him Happy and encourage communication
Hourly rate of pay: £11.44 from the 1st April 2024.
Hours available:
Hours are Flexible.
An enhanced DBS for working with children will be required, which I will arrange if an up to date clearance is needed.
