This month Beams launched our new campaign, Show your Love.
When you lose someone you love, there may come a time when you would like to do something in their memory.
We recently caught up with Jane who raised nearly £3,000 in memory of her dad.
“Beams have supported our daughter Ruby who has a rare genetic disorder since she was four years old. She is now nearly eighteen and attends KidsCamp holiday play schemes and Dragon’s Retreat Respite Care once a month.
When my Dad sadly passed away last year, we decided to ask for donations instead of flowers at his funeral and we raised nearly £3,000 for Beams. This was so easy to do with Beams providing us with collection envelopes and an online in memory page.
My Dad knew how much Ruby enjoys her time at Beams and that she thrives in this wonderful inclusive environment, so it was a special way for us to pay tribute to him.
Ruby was very close to my Dad and he would have been overjoyed knowing so much was raised for a cause so dear to our family and the difference it will make to children like Ruby.”

By donating in memory of someone you love to Beams you will be providing funds to help support disabled children and their families in the future.
