      EMPOWER-ME

      Brokerage Management

EMPOWER-ME is an exciting new project which will support young people to identify and develop their personal independence needs.

The learning system is flexible enough to be able to develop modules for bespoke learning needs where required.  No other learning model provides the flexibility and contextual learning opportunities used by Empower-Me. Learning is linked to the Core Skill Curriculum and meets the criteria for RARPA (Recognising and Recording Personal Achievement), which provides a clear assessment record for all those involved in the young person’s support.

Young people with disabilities often need additional support to achieve the skills that will enable them to reach their full potential.  In many cases, these skills cannot be realised within a traditional school or college setting.

Empower-Me is a unique and innovative Post 16 SEND learning provision, providing fully trained Learning Support Assistants (LSA) and qualified tutors to deliver 1:1 bespoke learning in their own home and community.  This means that all learning is completely functional for the individual and in learned in the context of their own life and needs.

Empower-Me delivers a wide-ranging curriculum, covering all aspects of independent living, with all learning embedded naturally into the learner’s daily life and activity schedule and linked to their EHCP or Care and Support Plan outcomes. Modules range from travel, communication, food and nutrition, taking care of their home, employability skills including support into employment, to name just a few.

If you would like more information, or would prefer to speak to someone directly then please do not hesitate to contact us.
