The purpose of this role is to provide support for a 17-year-old boy; he is very likeable and loving and really enjoys his time learning. He has great interest in numbers, songs, football, activities on the iPad / tablets and cooking. He had an autism diagnosis, and his verbal communication is improving.
Key main tasks:
· The PA will need to support this young person to help develop his life skills.
· Experience of working with children or adults with SEN is essential.
Rate of pay: £10.42 per hour
Hours available:
There are 16 hours available each month during term time with an additional 4 hours per week during non term time. Days and times are flexible and can be agreed at interview.
Due to the nature of this role, applicants must live within a 15 mile radius of the job location. If you live outside of this area and would like to be considered, please contact us.
An enhanced DBS for working with children will be required, which I will arrange if an up to date clearance is needed.
