We are looking for someone who may be able to provide some support and care for our son. He is 13 years old and has Down Syndrome. He attends Oakley School in Tunbridge Wells. He is very sociable and enjoys playing games, particularly ball, loves music, going for walks, to parks and playgrounds. We are looking for a few hours a week in term time and a bit more in the holiday, and we are flexible with the hours.
This would include some after school time including, on occasion (not every week), supporting him to attend his Scout group on a Friday evening between 7-9pm as well as at other scout activities at weekends when these arise. We live in Kings Hill. As he has speech difficulties he uses a VOCA (talker) and sign language so some knowledge of sign language would be helpful.
