Description / Details of the Role:

To assist my child to access social activities in the community whilst also increasing

their independence. My child struggles with meeting new people and has anxiety.

There will need to be dedicated time to build a relationship and trust with my child.

My child interests are gaming, transformers, theme parks, history, and star line

ships.

I would like my child to receive social opportunities and doing activities he enjoys. My

child needs encouragement and motivation to access the community as his anxiety

can sometimes impact him from doing this, therefore building a relationship at first is

extremely important.

Key main tasks:

Taking my child out into the community or assisting at home with my child.

My child takes medication during lunch times, the PA will need to be able to

give this to him.

My child walks on tiptoes, it is important to be mindful when walking in case

he trips and gets tired.

Hourly rate of pay: £11.44 from the 1st April 2024.

Hours available: 6 hours a week for 52 weeks of the year.

I would like these hours to be fulfilled during weekends, but I am flexible during nonterm

time weeks.

An enhanced DBS for working with children will be required, which I will arrange if an

up-to-date clearance is needed.
