We’re looking for someone who is young at heart, reliable, trustworthy, a good communicator, energetic and shows dignity and respect towards others, to become a personal assistant (PA).
As a PA you’ll support a very independent 16 year old blind boy with going out into the community, with his cane, helping him to meet friends, do fun activities, shopping and helping him in his groups and sometimes in his church settings.
You’ll work after school and or weekends (flexible).
You must have held a clean driving license for at least one year, you will need to have business insurance for traveling with the client.
The rate of pay will be £11.44 per hour, and you’ll be given full training on how to support when in post.
Available hours are up to 8hours a week term time and 12hours a week non term time.
If your successful, you’ll need to provide an enhanced DBS check which will be paid for by the employer.
