Children are invited to join a magical Christmas rescue mission this November as a brand new event The North Pole Dash comes to Swanley Park, supporting disabled children’s charity We Are Beams.

Taking place on Sunday 29th November, the family-friendly event will see children become Festive Recovery Agents, taking part in a fun-filled 1.5km rescue mission around the park as they help Santa recover three essential items that have been lost following an unfortunate mid-air sleigh mishap over Kent.

Thankfully, Santa made it safely back to the North Pole, but three items have been left behind: The Master Key, to open the toy shop, Magic Candy Canes to power up the Elves and of course Reindeer Food to keep the fleet flying!

Now Santa needs a team of brave young recruits to save Christmas.

Children can walk, toddle or run the fully accessible 1.5km rescue mission loop, searching for Santa’s missing items and recovering them along the way.

Festive outfits are very much encouraged and the North Pole Dash promises to be a fun and active way to kick off the Christmas season, with all children receiving a souvenir 30th anniversary medal at the finish line.

All proceeds from the event will support Beams essential services, including Family Advice, Respite Care and Summer Play Schemes, helping children with even the most complex disabilities thrive and reach their full potential.
