We Are Beams Charity Ball has been a shimmering success this year and is set to raise £16,000 to support disabled children and their families in Kent.

One hundred and fifty guests from the local community and businesses enjoyed a 3-course meal at Dartford Football Club.  There was an amazing atmosphere with live band, magician and dancing well into the night, plus auction and raffle, with one goal in mind to raise as much money for the charity as possible.

It is thanks to all the guests, supporters and sponsors that the event raised such a significant amount, which will all go towards Beams vital care services.

 “We are truly overwhelmed by the generosity and support shown by our Community and Corporate Supporters,” said Luke Cashin, Fundraising Manager at We Are Beams. “The funds raised from the Ball will directly benefit disabled children in Kent, providing essential services and support.”

We Are Beams support families every step of the way through the unique challenges of raising a disabled child.

Beams work is divided up into six key areas. These are Short Breaks Services, Family Advice Service, Brokerage, Direct Payment Service; Dragon’s Retreat 6 bedded Respite Unit and Payroll Service.
