I am looking for an ad-hoc Personal Assistant (PA) to support my 10-year-old daughter in accessing a range of social opportunities and to help her gain the maximum benefit and enjoyment in her life. She is a lovely girl who is fun to spend time with.
You need to have some experience working with a disabled young person and support with Personal Care where needed, to assist her to eat and drink, and to learn how to understand her non-verbal cues. You will need to ensure her safety when out and about.
The rate of pay is £12.21 per hour, and we have funding for 3 hours per week during school term time and 6 hours per week during school holidays. This role is to support the current PA when they are sick or on Annual Leave with the above hours.
Paid holiday entitlement of 20 days plus bank holidays, which will be calculated pro rata.
