We are looking for 2 Self Employed PA’s to work with a 21 year old young man. He is assertive, independent, strong willed and bright. He has Global Development Delay, Autism, ADHS and Anxiety.
He can come across as very capable but needs someone vigilant and motivational to ensure tasks and day-to-day activities are completed. He has a few day-to-day tasks that need to be completed during the working day with the PA’s, like cleaning his room and washing up.
This role would suit someone who is calm, motivational, enjoys going out (Funfairs, shopping) and likes animals (has a big dog). Driving License and use of own car is necessary.
We are looking for Monday and Thursday to be covered from 8am to 17.30pm.
You would be required to prove your Self Employment Status with Medway – who is funding the hours. Be part of a communication with other PA’s to sort out cover. Do daily logs and send these into the Nominate Agent. Have an in date enhanced DBS check for Adults. Be able to provide Contract for services and Public Liability Insurance policy and Car insurance policy.
